Former British deputy head teacher Matthew Smith has been jailed for 12 years after admitting paying £66,000 (Rs 69 lakh) to two teenagers (aged 18 and 17) in India to sexually abuse boys in India aged under 13 and send him images and videos of the acts. The prosecution said Smith had also said he would pay the abusers’ school fees in return for the child sex abuse visuals.
