Four children have drowned in two separate incidents in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur and Tirupattur districts. In Tiruvallur, a seven-year-old boy and his six-year-old sister fell into a pit while playing near a private rice mill under construction. In Tirupattur, two girls aged 10 and 13 drowned in a trench on their school premises.
