No 2nd innings, ‘super over’ for Chandrayaan-3 mission

India's Chandrayaan-3 mission, which involved the Vikram lander and Pragyan rover, has not woken up after experiencing a second lunar night. While the chances of them waking up again are slim, the option is not being closed. The mission has already collected sufficient data from the propulsion module payload, SHAPE, which studies habitable planet-like features of Earth. Despite the setback, the mission has been successful in providing new insights into lunar soil properties.
