Clad in a bandhgala punjabi and a dhoti, Abhijit Banerjee, along with his wife Esther Duflo and colleague Michael Kremmer, received the Nobel Prize for their research in economics at Stockholm Concert Hall in Sweden on Tuesday. Duflo wore a sari to the award ceremony.
