The Supreme Court on Friday said it would be better if Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah mosque dispute of Mathura was adjudicated by Allahabad HC which would also decide the preliminary objection on maintainability of the suit. It observed that multiplicity and prolongation of litigation in such cases could create disquiet one way or the other as history showed.
